all powerful, all seeing, all knowing, Magnificent, the King, Eternal, Immortal - the One True Living God - the Only God full of Grace Mercy & Truth - & grace & truth are met / embodied in Jesus Christ.
The Maker of the universe and the maker of everything that we see and can't see.
We come to Him by Faith through His Son Jesus.
Faith - God equates to Faith & He alone is Faithful. without faith it is impossible to please Him
• win the Lost
God’s nature is that He has a purpose for every individual on the face of the earth
‘I will come to you and fulfil my gracious promise to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’
(Jeremiah 29v10-11)
So we are evangelistic.
Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'
That one commandment is our purpose & it is the sole reason why God did not take any of us home when we submitted our lives to Jesus Christ; and
that purpose is the one purpose - which brings Hope.
we are to demonstrate the love of God to people thru goodness & kindness
our penultimate message is:
'while we were yet sinners, Christ Jesus died for us.'
& we do it with more than words
the words describe the Cross and the Resurrection to new life
come to the Cross - receive new life.
we preach the gospel in Love - & we demonstrate the love of God to People
• make Disciples
our purpose is to continually relate to God in our own lives one moment at a time & then connect people to God - 1 person at a time; for the righteous shall live by faith.
i.e. - walk in the Spirit, be led by the Spirit, introduce people to God in the power of the Spirit
not in isolation but in relationship.
we do that by Acceptance which is not condoning but accepting
In our modern society people are looking for love, acceptance, security, significance and commitment, relationship and friendship - a place to be accepted and find friendship & significance.
people don’t always go to church to find God, but to find a friend.
Friends bring friends to God.
As an extremely shy young lady once said when asked about her success in leading people to Christ: ‘Oh I just build a bridge of friendship with someone and then Jesus walks across it from my heart into theirs and He does the rest’

Missions
* PAOT Northern Thailand
We support a ‘sister church’ near Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand which comprises primarily believers from the Lahu Tribe.
P.A.O.T. (Pentecostal Assemblies of Tribes) work extensively amongst the Hill tribes in the area that used to be known as the Golden Triangle.
Ps Yawla and his team evangelise, see healing, train pastors and plant churches in Northern Thailand, Burma, Southern China, Laos and Vietnam.
PAOT also care for over 200 orphans in several locations.
We as a church seek to support them by undergirding them with prayer and finances, working on the principle of 2 Timothy 2.2 - 'entrust (these things) to faithful men and women who will be able to teach others also’

This work was started in the 70’s by 2 Australian Pastors from Adelaide who have worked on the same principle of 2 Timothy 2.2
Sponsorship of children (& overflowing to their families) is just $20 per month with NO admin fees - every cent reaches your designated child.
They are provided with schooling, uniforms, midday meal and so forth.
