We Believe

* Doctrinally - IN GOD - THE TRINITY … …

Ω There is one true living God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (1x1x1=1)

Ω In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God; in His virgin conception and birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death; that He was buried and rose again bodily; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; in His constant intercession for believers and in His imminent return.

Ω in the Person and the work of the Holy Spirit, with His fruit and gifts freely available in the church.

Ω in the existence of an evil spiritual being, the devil - satan.

Ω in the spiritually lost condition of all people and the essential need for the new birth by faith in Jesus Christ (John 3v3)

Ω in the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper and Baptism in water by full immersion for all believers.

Ω in the resurrection of all poeple who have ever lived - both the saved and the lost - the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation from God in that place of torment known as hell

Ω in the Bible - the inspired written word of God - authoritative, the foundation of all Christian doctrine; inerrant in the original languages, infallible and God-breathed.

Ω in the local church - being the body of Christ, the vehicle that God has chosen to represent Himself on the earth and in each believer being an active part of the local church and to fulfil the Great Commission

* WE BELIEVE PRACTICALLY … …

* that Jesus is whom He says he is, exactly God.

* we are branches on the Vine.

* exactly Jesus lives through us as His life is expressed by His Holy Spirit.

* apart from Him we can do nothing.

* the Beatitudes are not reflective of a standard, but detail the salient characteristics of the person in Christ.

* we are not to work for what we already possess for we have already been given everything pertaining to life and Godliness.

* a Christian does not have a behavior problem when caught up in failure, but a belief problem.

* God is true though every man be the liar.

* we cannot have fellowship around what we believe, but only around the One in whom we trust.

* power is perfected in weakness.

* He permits what He could prevent.

* there are things learned in suffering that cannot be learned in comfort.

* to share in the power of the resurrection, there must be the fellowship of suffering.

* Jesus is the Word of God.

* doctrine has no power, that perfect doctrine will not produce a perfect life; we believe that Jesus is the perfect life.

* Jesus is the Way and every other way is not the Way.

* Jesus is the glue holding all things together, and therefore His commands are not imposed upon man but written into the very nature of man.

* truth is not preached but demonstrated.

* grace is free but truth is purchased, and that if one does not believe the things of God, they will have to be proven in him.

* the normal Christian's growth involves being offended until he can no longer be offended.

* the coming of Jesus was never the Father's Plan B, but He was the Slain Lamb from the foundations of the world.

* this fallen body and this fallen world are the perfect place for the child of God to be birthed, that the purpose of life on earth is for the believer to be made safe for heaven.

* God is not fighting Satan but using him.

* the greatness of faith is not determined by how much one receives, but by how long one can go and receive nothing.

* God doesn't cause all things but will cause all things to work together for the good of those who love Him.

* God is for us, so who can be against us?

* victory is a moment-by-moment gift that comes from abiding in Christ.

* God has permitted the perfect circumstances for every believer to have the best opportunity at coming into a deeper revelation of Christ within him.

* no Christian has spiritual privilege over another, for God shows no partiality.

* the child of God is born again from above by the Spirit of God and not from within through the efforts of man.

* we can be one with Jesus as He was one with the Father.

* we believe that God loves us.
